   Ethiopia: from 6.30 to 4.61 children per woman in just 10 years

   From 2004 to 2014 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 15.8% → 19% (2004–2014); life expectancy 53.7 years → 62.9 years (2004–2014). This does not establish a cause.
