Mexico: from 6.28 to 4.43 children per woman in just 10 years

    02.55195020231990

From 1972 to 1982 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 60.6% → 67.5% (1972–1982); life expectancy 60.1 years → 65.3 years (1972–1982). This does not establish a cause.
