   Tajikistan: from 5.46 to 3.49 children per woman in just 10 years

   From 1990 to 2000 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 31.9% → 26.5% (1990–2000). This does not establish a cause.
