Saudi Arabia: from 5.16 to 3.26 children per woman in just 10 years

    05195020231990

From 1994 to 2004 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: women’s university enrolment 18.6% → 38.1% (1994–2004); life expectancy 70.6 years → 74 years (1994–2004). This does not establish a cause.
