Mongolia: from 5.45 to 2.82 children per woman in just 10 years
From 1984 to 1994 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: life expectancy 56.1 years → 60.9 years (1984–1994). This does not establish a cause.
