Hong Kong: from 4.92 to 2.63 children per woman in just 10 years

    024195020251990

From 1965 to 1975 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 85.9% → 89.5% (1965–1975); life expectancy 68.9 years → 73.4 years (1965–1975). This does not establish a cause.
