Colombia: from 6.48 to 4.53 children per woman in just 10 years
From 1964 to 1974 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 52% → 61.5% (1964–1974); life expectancy 58.8 years → 63.5 years (1964–1974). This does not establish a cause.
