Spain, 2013–2023: the birth rate of third and later children rose by 17%, of first children it fell by 18%
Per woman at that period's rates: first births 0.70 → 0.57, second 0.45 → 0.40, third and later 0.13 → 0.15; total 1.27 → 1.12. First children now come later (at 31.5 instead of 30.4). These series cannot separate postponement from births that will never occur.
