Deaths above the extended 2015–2019 trend (Human Mortality Database, Macroscope's calculation): 2020 +0.2%, 2021 +2.7%, 2022 +18.4%. Men's life expectancy (UN estimate): 80.3 years in 2019, 79.6 years in 2022. The UN's 2019 revision expected 80.5 years for 2020–2025; the estimate for the years so far is 80.4 years.
