South Korea: from 4.51 to 2.70 children per woman in just 10 years

    02.55195020251990

From 1968 to 1978 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 36.5% → 53.1% (1968–1978); life expectancy 60.9 years → 65.2 years (1968–1978). This does not establish a cause.
