   Norway: deaths stayed on trend for two pandemic years, then ran 12% above it in 2022

   Deaths above the extended 2015–2019 trend (Human Mortality Database, Macroscope's calculation): 2020 −0.3%, 2021 +3.4%, 2022 +12.5%. Men's life expectancy (UN estimate): 81.2 years in 2019, 80.9 years in 2022. The UN's 2019 revision expected 81.1 years for 2020–2025; the estimate for the years so far is 81.4 years.

More findings

• Israel: 15-year-olds with problems from social media rose from 5% to 16%, and maths did not fall; in Norway there are fewer, and maths fell 33 points
