Nepal: from 4.87 to 3.12 children per woman in just 10 years
From 1995 to 2005 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 24.1% → 45.5% (1995–2005); life expectancy 59.3 years → 65.3 years (1995–2005). This does not establish a cause.
