Kuwait: from 5.90 to 4.00 children per woman in just 10 years

    05195020231990

From 1976 to 1986 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 90.7% → 97.9% (1976–1986); women’s university enrolment 9.5% → 16.2% (1976–1986); life expectancy 70.2 years → 74.1 years (1976–1986). This does not establish a cause.
