   Deaths above the extended 2015–2019 trend (Human Mortality Database, Macroscope's calculation): 2020 +1.1%, 2021 +4.8%, 2022 +14%. Men's life expectancy (UN estimate): 79.2 years in 2019, 78.4 years in 2022. The UN's 2019 revision expected 79.8 years for 2020–2025; the estimate for the years so far is 78.9 years.
