Dominican Republic: from 6.76 to 4.84 children per woman in just 10 years

    05195020231990

From 1967 to 1977 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 37.1% → 48.6% (1967–1977); life expectancy 56.6 years → 62.2 years (1967–1977). This does not establish a cause.
