Algeria: from 6.04 to 3.49 children per woman in just 10 years

    05195020231990

From 1985 to 1995 the number of children per woman fell faster than in any other decade since 1950. Around that period: urban share 47.9% → 56% (1985–1995); life expectancy 64.2 years → 67.7 years (1985–1995). This does not establish a cause.
